Flower Power

My beautiful family bought me this gorgeous pot of chrysanthemums for Mother's Day back in May (which was when I took these photos - it's just taken me a while to share them in a Blog post!). Aren't they spectacular? As soon as I saw them, I got the images in my head for these photos - so excited I could pull them off!

The timber background in the first photos is our front verandah decking, and the dark background in the last 3 photos? That's just the pot and our front screen door.

It doesn't look anywhere near this magnificent anymore, but the plant is still alive!... And it's flowering again! So that's got to count for something, doesn't it? (It just doesn't look anywhere near as amazing anymore hahaha. I made sure I took these photos straight away while it was still looking amazing! I love my potted plants, but unfortunately any plants that come home with me only have about a 50/50 chance of survival...).
